Queen Creek native and Casteel High School alum Landon Hairston has officially broken Arizona State’s single-season home run record with his 28th homer of the season.

Landon Hairston is putting together one of the best seasons in the country, earning a Midseason USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award nod after hitting .461 with 18 home runs and 51 RBIs while reaching base over 50 percent of the time.
