Women’s College All Star Game Comes To Phoenix

The Women’s College All Star Game took place in Phoenix, Arizona at Global Credit Union Arena, where Team Lieberman defeated Team Miller 72 to 69.


Team Lieberman led for most of the game and built a 16 point lead in the third quarter before Team Miller made a late push to tie things up in the fourth. Despite the comeback effort, Team Lieberman made key plays late to secure the win.


Christeen Iwuala led Team Lieberman with 15 points and eight rebounds, earning MVP honors. Nyla Harris added 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Jessica Timmons finished with 12 points.



Team Miller was led by Darianna Littlepage Buggs with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ny’Ceara Pryor added 13 points in the loss.


Team Lieberman controlled the paint and got strong production from its bench, which proved to be the difference in a close game.


“The experience was incredible,” Iwuala said. “I was honestly surprised by how welcoming and engaged everyone was from the start. It felt like a true team effort, and I was able to put my best foot forward.”
