One of the top players in Arizona girls flag football is on the move. Marlie Phillips, a standout quarterback in the class of 2028, has announced her transfer from Hamilton High School to Liberty High School.
Phillips leaves Hamilton after an incredible run with the Huskies, leading the program to a perfect 38 and 0 record and securing back to back state championships. In the rapidly growing landscape of girls flag football, she has established herself as one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the state.
What makes the move even more significant is Phillips’ age. Still only a sophomore, she has two more seasons ahead of her, giving Liberty a proven leader with championship experience and plenty of time to make an impact.
As she begins the next chapter of her high school career, all eyes will be on Phillips as she brings her talent, poise, and winning pedigree to a new program. Arizona flag football just got even more interesting.
