Arizona enters the 2026 season with one of its deepest groups of pass catchers in recent memory, featuring Power Four commits, explosive playmakers, and rising underclassmen ready to break out.

From proven stars to emerging talent, these are Bamboo's Top 10 preseason wide receivers entering the 2026 high school football season. 1. Roye Oliver III (Hamilton) A Class of 2027 (reclassified) prospect committed to USC, Oliver has totaled 1,839 career receiving yards, 92 receptions, and 29 touchdowns. During his sophomore season, he recorded 1,839 receiving yards, 92 catches, and 29 touchdowns.

The consensus No. 1 wide receiver in Arizona, Oliver enters the season as one of the nation's elite prospects. After earning 2025 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year, MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year, and MaxPreps All-American honors, he has established himself as the state's premier offensive weapon. His elite speed, polished route running, and game-breaking ability make him one of the top receivers in the country, while his connection with quarterback Jax Sculley forms Arizona's top quarterback-wide receiver duo.

2. Jai Jones (Chandler) The Class of 2027 Wisconsin commit has accumulated 1,502 career receiving yards, 114 receptions, and 12 touchdowns. Last season he finished with 922 receiving yards, 54 catches, and 10 touchdowns.

Jones has become one of Arizona's most complete receivers thanks to his precise route running and dependable hands. His chemistry with Oregon commit Will Mencl gives Chandler one of the state's most dangerous passing attacks.

3. Kingston Anetema (Mesa) A Class of 2027 prospect, Anetema is committed to Arizona State after totaling 2,425 career receiving yards, 160 receptions, and 34 touchdowns. Despite missing half of last season because of transfer eligibility, he still posted 471 yards and five touchdowns.

Now with a full offseason alongside quarterback Kane Anetema, Kingston has an opportunity to remind everyone why he has been one of Arizona's most productive receivers throughout his career. 4. Dontay Tyson Jr. (Peoria) The Class of 2027 Washington commit has compiled 1,448 career receiving yards, 109 receptions, and 18 touchdowns. During his junior season, Tyson recorded 448 yards and seven touchdowns.

One of Arizona's most versatile athletes, Tyson excels on both sides of the football. His explosiveness after the catch and ability to create big plays make him one of the state's most dangerous receivers. 5. Jaden Baldwin (Basha) A Class of 2027 receiver committed to Pittsburgh, Baldwin owns 1,236 career receiving yards, 94 receptions, and seven touchdowns. Last season he finished with 820 yards and six touchdowns.

Baldwin played a major role during Basha's Open Division championship run. His reliable hands, body control, and consistency in key situations have made him one of Arizona's most dependable targets.

6. Zerek Sidney (Desert Edge) A Class of 2027 Washington commit, Sidney has totaled 754 career receiving yards, 60 receptions, and 12 touchdowns. Injuries limited him to just 111 yards and one touchdown last season.

Fully healthy entering his senior year, Sidney returns to one of Arizona's most talented rosters and has all the tools to reestablish himself as one of the state's premier deep threats. 7. Trey Smith (Williams Field)

The Class of 2027 Arizona commit has accumulated 992 career receiving yards, 51 receptions, and four touchdowns. During his junior season, Smith recorded 695 yards on 36 receptions.

Smith continues to build outstanding chemistry with quarterback Dominick Barjona. Together, they've quietly formed one of Arizona's most productive passing combinations.

8. Braxton Huynh (Liberty) The Class of 2028 San Diego State commit enters the season with 1,094 career receiving yards, 65 receptions, and 11 touchdowns, all coming during an outstanding sophomore campaign.

Huynh quickly established himself as one of Arizona's breakout stars. His speed, route running, and ability to create explosive plays give Liberty another elite weapon heading into 2026. 9. Torrin Hill (Centennial) A Class of 2028 prospect, Hill remains uncommitted after totaling 927 career receiving yards, 72 receptions, and 11 touchdowns. Last season he produced 530 yards and seven touchdowns.

Hill continues to emerge as one of Arizona's rising stars. With Centennial adding more offensive talent around him, he has the opportunity to become one of the state's biggest breakout receivers. 10. Troy Jauregui (Casteel) The Class of 2027 receiver is currently uncommitted after recording 808 career receiving yards, 45 receptions, and nine touchdowns, all coming during his junior season.

Jauregui played a major role in Casteel's 6A State Championship run. His reliable hands and chemistry with quarterback Tee Smith made him one of the classification's most consistent playmakers. Honorable Mentions Several talented receivers narrowly missed the top 10. RJ Gory (Casteel)

The Class of 2027 Northern Arizona commit transfers to Casteel after a standout career at Salpointe Catholic. Gory brings proven production, reliable hands, and big-play ability to the Colts' offense, adding another dangerous weapon to a team looking to defend its 6A State Championship. Donovan McNabb Jr. (Brophy College Prep)

A Class of 2027 UNLV commit, McNabb totaled 363 career receiving yards, 32 receptions, and five touchdowns, including 280 yards, 23 receptions, and four touchdowns during his junior season. His athleticism and upside make him one of the top returning playmakers in Brophy's offense. Teo Weeks (Mountain View)

The Class of 2028 receiver is uncommitted after recording 317 receiving yards, 23 receptions, and three touchdowns as a sophomore. Weeks is one of Mountain View's top returning offensive weapons and has the opportunity to become quarterback Brayden Merwin's favorite target while emerging as one of the East Valley's breakout receivers.
