I'm Mackenzie Porter, based in Arizona, I specialize in sports and portrait photography, capturing the energy and emotion of high school athletics and personal moments. As a creative of Bamboo Sports Media, I collaborate with a creative team dedicated to showcasing local sports talent. Through my lens, I aim to tell compelling stories that resonate with athletes, families, and fans alike.

My Story

I'm Mackenzie Porter, the photographer behind @portraitsbymack on Instagram. I started my photography journey in December of 2024, and from the very beginning, I was drawn to the emotion, intensity, and storytelling power of sports photography.

Since then, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with Bamboo Sports Media, where I’ve been capturing the thrilling, fast-paced moments that define high school athletics across Arizona. Whether it's a game-winning shot, a heartfelt celebration, or the quiet focus before kickoff, I strive to freeze those moments in time and tell powerful stories through my lens.

In addition to sports, I also have a passion for portrait photography, and I love working with athletes, seniors, and individuals to create meaningful, authentic images that reflect who they are. Every shoot is a new chance to connect, create, and grow as an artist.
